Martin Hannett

English record producer and musician (born 31 May 1948 – died 18 April 1991). Best known as the innovative in-house producer at Factory Records between 1978 and 1981. He performed with John Cooper Clarke's backing band The Curious Yellows and The Invisible Girls.
