Harold Bloom
Harold Bloom (born July 11, 1930) is an American literary critic. Originally aligned with the generation of scholars who emerged in Yale in the 1960s, Bloom became well known in the 1990s for his defence of the Literary Canon against revisionist critics. He is Sterling Professor of Humanities at Yale University.
