Schild-Verlag

German publisher founded in 1949 by Helmut Damerau and based in Munich. It produced the German soldiers newspaper (until 1957) and the German soldier's yearbook. The publishing house was financially supported by the Americans gov't and the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government for military policy reasons.
