Ricarda Huch

Ricarda Huch (born 18 July 1864 – died 17 November 1947) was a pioneering German intellectual. Trained as an historian, and the author of many works of European history, she also wrote novels, poems, and a play. She was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature seven times.
