Fritz Molden

Friedrich Peter Ernst Richard Gabriel Hildebrand Molden, born 8. April 1924, died 11. January 2014, was an Austrian journalist, author, editor and publisher. He was an active member of the resistance movement against the Nazi regime (being arrested the first time when he was 14 years old). In 1947 he was honored with the Medal of Freedom. Founded Verlag Fritz Molden in 1964, went into bankruptcy in 1982 and reactivated the brand in 1995. In 2005 he left the company, which is now part of Styria Media Group.
