Partha Dasgupta

Sir Partha Sarathi Dasgupta, FRS, FBA (born 17 November 1942, Dhaka, British India (present-day Bangladesh)), is the Frank Ramsey Professor Emeritus of Economics at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom; Fellow of St John's College, Cambridge, and Visiting Professor at the New College of the Humanities, London.
