Robert Manning
Robert Joseph Manning (born December 25, 1919 - died September 28, 2012) was was an American journalist, and editor. He worked as London Bureau Chief for Time from 1958–61, Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs and editor of The Atlantic. Mr. Manning later became editor in chief of Boston Publishing Company and oversaw publication of “The Vietnam Experience,” an illustrated 25-volume series.
