British music journalist, record label consultant and PR. He has written for Mojo and The Arts Desk, The Independent, The Guardian, Q, Billboard and Music Week. Author of Smashing It Up: A Decade of Chaos with The Damned. Other work includes consulting for major and independent labels (including Universal, the former EMI, Rhino and Bella Union), he's worked on reissues, including liner notes. His own imprint – RPM International (part of RPM Records) – is dedicated to reissuing non-UK, non-American music. PR commissions focus on delivering artists to territories beyond their own, addressing Anglophone-friendly markets.
