Richard Gordon

Gordon Stanley Ostlere (born 15 September 1921 – died 11 August 2017), better known by his pen name Richard Gordon, was an English surgeon, anaesthetist, and author. He is known for a series of novels on a medical theme beginning with Doctor in the House.
