Christopher Prendergast

Christopher Prendergast (born 1942) is an academic, author, and editor. He specializes in French literature and cultural history, principally of the 19th and 20th centuries. He is Professor Emeritus of French literature at the University of Cambridge and a fellow of King's College and the British Academy. He is the general editor of the Penguin Proust.
