Jesús Ignacio Aldapuerta

Spanish writer born in Madrid (6/2/1950). Many details about his life remain murky but he spent periods Latin America, Thailand, Morocco and the Philippines. He also spent time in a Spanish prison for drug smuggling. His obsessions and influences included the Marquis de Sade. After a lack of any real success his life spiralled into alcoholism and in 1987 he committed suicide.
