John The Postman

John the Postman (real name Jonathan Ormrod, born Harpurhey, Greater Manchester 1956. Died July 2015) was an English punk rock singer from Manchester. Among his various jobs, the best known was that of a postman, hence the nickname. He was well known in Manchester for his impromptu performances at gigs.
