Max Kay

British music journalist. He began a career in journalism writing his first editorial for Melody Maker in 1981. Over the following years the author's work appeared in numerous UK music publications including Sounds, International Musician and Kerrang. In the late nineties the author went on to produce a humorous monthly column for Music Business before moving with it to the UK musical instrument trade magazine MI Pro. His work also appeared in US trade journal -The Music & Sound Retailer. He sadly died in 2015.
