Anne Frank

German-born diarist, known for her diary which was published as Het Achterhuis. Dagboekbrieven 14 Juni 1942 – 1 Augustus 1944 (The Diary of a Young Girl, or The Diary of Anne Frank), which documents her life in hiding during the German occupation of the Netherlands in World War II. Daughter of Otto H. Frank. Real name: Annelies Marie Frank
