Paul Burgess

Paul Burgess is an English freelance illustrator, designer, photographer, and writer. He lives and works in St Leonards-On-Sea, East Sussex. Since graduating from in 1986, Paul Burgess has worked as a freelance illustrator for over 20 years. The Guardian, Penguin Books, Jonathan Cape, Island Records, Pepe Jeans, Ecover, American Health Magazine, The Observer, Elle, Orion Publishing, GQ Magazine, Radio Times, Forward Publishing, Ammirati & Puris/Lintas, The Partners, Wolff Olins, Greenpeace, Harper Collins, New Scientist, The Independent, Sunday Times, The Delays, TBWA, Sex Pistols, Rough Trade Records, Big Dada Recordings, Top Shop, Vintage Books, MTV, and many other editorial, design and advertising clients. In 1994 Burgess started a six year photography project with Jarvis Cocker of Pulp, to photograph and document live gigs, video shoots, artwork, etc. He also works as a lecturer at the University of Brighton.
