RTLplus

German commercial TV broadcaster, premiered January 1984. Renamed to RTL Television in November 1992. The name was shortened to RTL in 2004, as it has always been called in the general language of viewers. Headquarters in Cologne, Germany since 1988. Not to be confused with the special interest channel RTLplus, started in June 2016.
