Columbia Recording Corporation

Columbia Recording Corporation was the immediate owner of the Columbia (Records) label in the USA, established April 4, 1947 following the renaming of American Record Corporation (former owner of the Columbia imprint) following that companies acquisition by Columbia Broadcasting System, Inc. The company was renamed Columbia Records, Inc. on October 11, 1954.
