2001: A Space Odyssey (film)
2001: A Space Odyssey is a epic science fiction film produced and directed by Stanley Kubrick. The film is partially based on Arthur C. Clarke's short stories "The Sentinel", written in 1948 as an entry in a BBC short story competition, and "Encounter in the Dawn", published in 1953 in the magazine Amazing Stories.
