Andreas Gößling and his wife, author and translator Anne Löhr-Gößling, founded MayaMedia GmbH Verlag und Agentur Dr. Andreas Gößling in Munich, Germany in 1994. MayaMedia Verlag operates as a non-fiction publishing company, Agentur Dr. Andreas Gößling (using Redaktionsbüro or Verlagsbüro on most credits instead of Agentur) as editorial office and literary agency. In 1995 Oliver Neumann joined the team on a regular basis and later became a partner, so the agency was renamed to Verlagsbüro Dr. Andreas Gößling und Oliver Neumann GbR. When the Gößlings moved their business to Coburg in 2000, Neumann stayed in Munich and founded Verlagsbüro Oliver Neumann. By the end of 2013, beginning 2014, the company moved to Berlin.
