Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society

The Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society is a non-profit organization founded in 1978 in the eastern Lake Superior area of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Their mission statement is to: Preserve lights and stations which warned mariners of the dangers inherent, Honor those who were aboard and who bravely attempted rescue and Discover, document and interpret vessels which instead took the deep.
