Denise Hall
Author and writer born in Manchester, England. In the mid-1970s she was based in the USA and was American correspondent for the British magazine Black Music. She worked for several years for the National Enquirer in the USA; she also worked as a publicist for a former Motown producer at Warner Brothers. She wrote about soul, rhythm & blues, funk, reggae and world music. In the 1980s she relocated to Cork, Ireland where she worked for the Irish Examiner as a columnist for over 30 years.
