American fine art photographer, social documentarian, and educator. Sandra-Lee was a contributing photographer for the Village Voice and published a bi-weekly column “Streetstyle”. Published work includes: The Village Voice, The New York Times, Reader’s Digest, Vanity Fair, The Sun Magazine, and The Washington Post Magazine; recent commercial clients include The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and The Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Her images are represented for stock by Getty Images. Phipps was based in Athens, Georgia in the early 1980s.
