American based in New York who has worked in comic book retail for over fifteen years, including owning and and managing the Brooklyn comic shop Rocketship (2005-2010). He has written about comics in a variety of venues, is a published illustrator and cartoonist, and has created dozens of self-published mini-comics. Since 2010 he has been Deputy Director of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund and, since 2019, Director, merchandise and special projects at IDW Entertainment.
