Andy Cowles

British creative director, designer and art editor. Cowles worked for EMAP in the 1980s-1990s working on such titles as Q, Mojo, Melody Maker, Empire, Premiere, Total Sport, Fore, Ride, Angling Times, Country Walking and Trail. He also had a spell with News Corp working on News of the World’s Sunday Magazine. He relocated to New York in 2001, working at Conde Nast and then Wenner Media (2001-2004) on Rolling Stone magazine. IPC Media (2004-2013) on titles such as Marie Claire, Instyle, Look, Now, Woman's Weekly, Nuts, Country Life, Ideal Home, TV Times, Woman, What's On TV and Who Weekly for Time Inc. Sydney. In 2013 he founded Cowles Media and is based in London and New York.
