Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online

Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online (abbreviated to SAOAGGO or, more commonly, AGGO) is a spin-off of the popular light novel series, Sword Art Online and is written by Keiichi Sigsawa. Based on SAO's third story arc, the series is set in the fictional VRMMO 'Gun Gale Online,' and focuses on a new cast of characters. As of September 2018, eight volumes have been published in Japan, two volumes of a manga adaptation have been published, and a twelve-episode anime series has aired.
