German Publisher specialized in Children's Literature and Audiobooks, located in Frankfurt a.M., Germany. Founded 1807 by Heinrich Remigius Sauerländer (1776-1847) in Aarau, Switzerland. Focused on Children's Literature and Educational Books since 1900. The company was privately held until 2001 and was then sold to the Austrian Dachs Verlag, belonged to the 'Bibliographisches Institut' in Mannheim, Germany between 2010 and 2012 and was merged into the S. Fischer Verlag GmbH with other Children Book programs in January 2013.
