Allan Ullman

Allan Ullman, born November 18 1908 (some sources say 1909), died March 15 1982, was an American author. He also wrote under the pseudonym Sandy Alan. Allan also worked as a book advertising salesman for the New York Times, the Promotion Director of Random House Inc., and an executive of the Book-of-the-Month Club. He was appointed as head of The New York Times’s book and education division where he worked until his retirement.
