Alastair Niven

Alastair Niven is a literary scholar and was Principal of Cumberland Lodge from 2001 to 2013. Previously he was Director General of The Africa Centre from 1978 to 1984 and has held academic positions at the Universities of Ghana (where he had been a Commonwealth Scholar), Leeds and Stirling.
