Bert Trautmann's Helmet

Fanzine dedicated to the English football club Manchester City. Produced by Noel Bayley, its first issue came out in late 1995 or early 1996. It was originally called Electric Blue but had to change its name after threats of legal action from the publisher of a pornographic magazine of the same name. Bert Trautmann was the Manchester City goalkeeper who appeared in 545 matches for City during the 15-year period between 1949 and 1964. He was also a former member of the Wehrmacht and served time as a prisoner of war in England.
