Philo of Alexandria (Ancient Greek: Φίλων; Hebrew: ידידיה הכהן; born circa 20 BCE – died circa 50 CE), also called Philo Judaeus, was a Hellenistic Jewish philosopher who lived in Alexandria, in the Roman province of Egypt.
