Rod McShane

UK based music and film journalist (born 21st December 1941, died 1st April 2018). Born in Australia he emigrated to the UK. He contributed to the New Musical Express in the 1970s. He was best known to the chess community as the father of Luke McShane, who was a chess prodigy, Rod also became an active chess administrator.
