Claudio Cojaniz

Claudio Cojaniz - plan. Born in 1952. After his academic studies (piano, organ and composition) he carried out a wide-ranging activity as composer: in 1985 radio France recorded at Villa Medici in Rome Apèiron for vibraphone and 15 instruments, with Maurizio Ben Omar at the solo instrument and ensemble Today's Music directed by Fabio Maestri; wins the "Irino Prize" of Tokjo in 1990, with Spheres for orchestra, (and other competitions ...); the Italian Quartetto di Sassofoni by F.Mondelci records his Kaleidoscopic Quartet; the Scarlatti orchestra of Naples, through M.Bortolotto, commissioned him a work, Memories, written for orchestra with micro-intervals. In 1992 he wrote Der Siebente Ring, for the Contempo Ensemble (... and other orchestral works, for small formations and for solo instruments). His scores are published by Edi-Pan (Rome).
