Fred Mills

American music writer, editor and freelance music journalist based in North Carolina. Since 1979 he has been a freelance music journalist, he has also edited Creative Loafing (1987-1992), Magnet Magazine (1994-2006), Harp Magazine (2006-2008), Stereophile magazine (since 1998), Blurt magazine (since 2008). Other magazines he has contributed articles to include Billboard (2008-2010), Stomp & Stammer magazine (1997-present). He is currently the editor of Blurt Magazine and Blurtonline.com (2008-present) and the editor of business publication Capital at Play (2015-present). Other publications he has contributed to include The Bob, Biohazard, Bucketful of Brains (UK), Ruta 66 (Spain), Option, Puncture, Spin, CD Review, Backstreets, Stereophile, Magnet, Harp, Stomp & Stammer, Terrascope, Shuffle.
