Karen Schoemer

American writer, music journalist and occasional performer based in New York. Schoemer was a staff writer for The Bob in the late 1980s and senior writer for Newsweek (1994-1999). She has also contributed to numerous other publications including The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Blender etc.
