Aristippus of Cyrene (Greek: Ἀρίστιππος ὁ Κυρηναῖος; c. 435 – c. 356 BC) was the founder of the Cyrenaic school of Philosophy. He was a pupil of Socrates, but adopted a very different philosophical outlook.
