Morden i Sandhamn

Life on Sandhamn has inspired Viveca Sten as a writer and published in 2008 the first novel in the series, 'I de lugnaste vatten' (English edition: Still Waters). All the novels take place on Sandhamn, an island in the Stockholm archipelago. The main characters of the series are criminal investigator Thomas Andreasson and his childhood friend, prosecutor Nora Linde. The book series has sold in more than tre million copies worldwide, and has been published in twenty countries and translated to several languages, including German, Spanish, Dutch, Polish and Japanese, as well as all the Nordic languages. A large part of the novels has been adapted for television.
