Alan Messer

Alan became a professional photographer, on December 3rd 1967, working from Dezo Hoffmann's studio as a freelance and was a UK pop magazine (Record Mirror) staff photographer. During the seventies, Alan was the resident Old Grey Whistle Test photographer (BBC TV), was tour photographer for Iggy Pop and Deep Purple and photographed many visiting touring US bands and artists, either in his London studio or on the road. He is now based in Nashville, Tn, USA.
