Monica Almeida

American photographer and photo-journalist who has been based in New York and Los Angeles. Almeida started her career at the Los Angeles Times (1982-1986). She went on to the New York Daily News (1986-1991), New York Times (1992-2016). Since 2016 she has worked freelance in Los Angeles.
