Alessandro Bausani
Alessandro Bausani (Rome, 29 May 1921 - Rome, 12 March 1988) was an Islamist, Arabist, Iranian, glottoteta, historian of religions and Italian translator, one of the greatest Italian scholars of Islam, as well as a translator and commentator of one of the most important versions in Italian of the Koran.
