Aldo A. Settia
Aldo A. Settia, born in Albugnano (Asti), part of Collina Magra, after having served for a certain number of years in the Italian army, was first professor of History of Late Ancient and Medieval Settlements in Turin and then of Medieval History in Pavia interested in, in particular, the rural population, the civil and ecclesiastical territorial organization, castles and medieval war techniques.
