Augusto Pirola
Augusto Pirola, born in Pavia on May 22, 1932, graduated in natural sciences. University professor in Phytosociology and Botany. He mainly researches in the geobotanical field and in particular on the vegetation and the alpine flora and on the thematic cartography of the vegetation. He is the author of numerous texts on botany and geobotany.
