Wilke & Co. Ltd.

Wilke & Co. Ltd. was an Australian printing company. Wilke had its origins in 1895 when Herbert Wilke, Henry Barton and Alice H. Barton opened Excelsior Printing Office in Bay Street, Port Melbourne, to print the Port Melbourne Gazette. In 1948, Wilke & Co. Ltd. was listed as a public company. In 1976 the Adelaide Advertiser acquired Wilke & Co. Ltd. and it was delisted. The company no longer exists.
