Giovanni Scoto Eriugena
Giovanni Scoto Eriùgena, or simply Scoto Eriugena or Giovanni Eriugena (Ireland, about 810 - England?, After 877), was a Christian monk, theologian, philosopher and translator from Ireland, considered one of the greatest early medieval philosophers for his contribution to the speculative (Periphyseon) and translator of the work of Pseudo-Dionigi, which will have a wide influence until the end of the Middle Ages.
