Piero Boccardo

Piero Boccardo graduated in History of Art at the University of Genoa and then completed his studies at the Autonomous University of Madrid and the Musée du Louvre in Paris, subsequently obtaining a Ph.D. at the University from Milan. As Director of the Galleria di Palazzo Rosso, and since 2005 of the entire complex of the Strada Nuova Museums (Palazzo Rosso, Palazzo Bianco and Palazzo Tursi), he has organized art exhibitions in Genoa, and has collaborated on various exhibitions in Italy. and abroad. He has also published more than a hundred essays on the Genoese artistic culture between the fifteenth and seventeenth centuries.
