Samuel Jankélévitch
Samuel Jankélévitch (born 30 April 1869 - died 1951) was a Russian-born French medical doctor, and translator. He emigrated to France to escape religious persecution in Russia. In addition to his medical career, he translated many books, from German, English, Russian and Italian, in a number of different fields, including: philosophy, psychology, and medicine.
