Saad Yagan

Born in Aleppo, Syria in 1950, Saad Yagan (or Saad Yakan, Arabic: سعد يكن) graduated from the Plastics Arts Centre- College of Fine Arts, Aleppo in 1964. He has participated in over 100 exhibitions throughout the Middle East and Internationally; including shows in Germany, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Spain and the USA. Yagan's artworks have been successfully auctioned at Christies and can be found in numerous art museums and in important art collections throughout the world. Yagan has won several awards and has broadcasted a series of art documentaries on Syrian television. He is also an advisor and lecturer of the arts.
