J. E. A. Tyler

James Edward Anthony Tyler (born 31 October 1943 – died 28 October 2006) was a British writer who authored several books and wrote for the New Musical Express, Macworld, MacUser, PC Pro and Computer Shopper. As J. E. A. Tyler, he authored The Tolkien Companion (1976) - revised and updated as The Complete Tolkien Companion (2002).
