Pietro Lorenzetti

Pietro Lorenzetti (or Pietro Laurati) was an Italian painter. Together with his younger brother Ambrogio, he introduced naturalism into Sienese art. In their artistry and experiments with three-dimensional and spatial arrangements, the brothers foreshadowed the art of the Renaissance.
