Theodore Norman
Theodore Norman (12 March 1912, in Montreal – 29 May 1997, in Los Angeles) was a Canadian composer and guitarist. As a champion of contemporary guitar literature he performed and edited works by various composers, such as Arnold Schönberg, Pierre Boulez and Ernst Krenek. He also wrote the first-ever dodecaphonic pieces for guitar ("Two Twelve-tone Pieces for Solo Guitar") in 1954.
