Boards of Canada

Boards of Canada (BoC) is a Scottish band consisting of the brothers Marcus Eoin (in full Marcus Eoin Sandison, 21 July 1971) and Michael Sandison (1 June 1970). They produce electronic music with characteristics of downtempo, ambient and IDM. They are under contract with the British label Warp Records. The name Boards of Canada is derived from the National Film Board of Canada (NFB), a company that made short films and documentaries.
